Cub Scout Centenary Fun Day
4 April 2016
Cub Scouts from around the District got together as part of their year long celebration of 100 years of Cub Scouts.

In the morning they watched a special showing of the Jungle book, then they walked to the District HQ for a quick bite to eat before getting together with new friends into teams.
Starting with a mega Grand Howl before setting off for a range of quick fire exciting bases. There were some of the old favourites, such as ma
king twists, then exploding rockets, making and firing ballistas, among many others. “It was the best Cub day ever” said one Cub “I made lots of new friends from other Groups”
And then, how else to finish but of course, with camp fire songs. The DHQ may need a new roof now!
